Data capture from image allows tighter document security, faster turnaround, reduced document storage and retrieval costs, and faster access to your information. Image-based data capture is dependent upon the scanning of your paper documents into digital images.
RRD can significantly reduce your data capture costs and improve data quality by scanning your paper documents and securely transferring the digital images electronically to one of our global delivery centres in China.
After the image transfer is complete, permanently assigned data entry operators will then proceed to accurately capture your valuable data from your digital images. Upon completion, your data capture results will be available within the desired turnaround time, in the required format.

Images are not transferred from their country of origin using this online data capture process, as they can be securely accessed via the internet by our dedicated data entry operators in China.
After the data entry operator has securely logged on to the online data capture software, permanently assigned data entry operators will then proceed to accurately capture your valuable data from the online digital images. Upon completion of data capture, your results will be available in real time.
Data checking, exceptions handling and validation all support your chosen OCR/ICR engine's goal to achieve the highest level of data accuracy.
Understanding your OCR/ICR engine's strengths to capture readable and non-critical fields, RRD will complement this process by using data entry operators to capture the critical fields from the scanned images. Thus, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
In addition or as a stand alone service, we can also validate the automated data capture results and handle exceptions that your OCR/ICR engine cannot identify. We work as data exception handlers with some our clients forms processing and OCR/ICR platforms.
